I will be praying tomorrow morning at Bob Jones High School with students there. I thought I would share the prayer that I'm going to pray in advance. Hopefully, it will encourage some of you. May Christ increase in all that we say and do! ------------------
On this National Day of Prayer in our country, several things come to my mind and stir in my heart. First of all, I thank you for Robby Parker, the principal. I pray for him and his wife. Please give him wisdom and keep him pure as a leader for these students. Second, I pray that no one will despise these students for their youth. Help them to see that they are loved by you and made in your image. In every trial they face, let them see your goodness and be filled with joy. This brings me, to the last, but equally important thing I ask of you this morning. Lord God, help these students and faculty to flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. Guide these students to think and act upon things that are honorable, just, and pure. This ultimately leads to trusting your Son, Jesus Christ. May Christ be glorified in all the students do today and every day.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
